John is a Lewis County native growing up on a farm in Camden, a graduate of Glenville State College. John took over his father’s practice, John T. Law, PA when he retired in 1992 after 30 years in public accounting.
In addition to his 35+ years in public accounting, John is a member of The West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants Association and a past President of the West Virginia Public Association. John has served on several local Boards, currently Mon Health System, Mon Stonewall Jackson Hospital, and Lewis County Building Commission. In addition, John is an active Rotarian, having been Past President, Past Assistant District Governor and Paul Harris Fellow.

Betty is a Weston native having received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Salem College.
Betty specializes in providing accounting and tax services to small and medium sized businesses with an emphasis on the Oil and Gas Industry focusing on revenue distribution, account payable and severance taxes.
Betty is a member of the West Virginia Society of Public Accountants Association, West Virginia Public Accountant Association and a Past President, National Association of Tax Professionals and American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers. She has served on the Lewis County Parks and Recreation Commission Board as Treasurer since 1988.

Tom is a Weston native and a graduate of Glenville State College with a Business Administration Degree with Emphasis in Accounting. After working 22 years with Louie Glass/Princess House Manufacturing working in the Accounting Department, Tom joined the firm of John E. Law CPA, A.C.
Tom specializes in industrial accounting, tax and business preparation, non-profit tax preparation, and labor union accounting and tax preparations.
Tom is a Member of the School Advisory Council of St. Patrick School and the School Foundation Board.

Melinda is a native of Longview, Texas, graduating from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Art Degree and then went on to the University of Tennessee where she received her Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis in Administration.
She is the Office Manager and has 28+ years of experience with bookkeeping, payroll and coordinating tax season.
She serves on the Lewis County Health Department Board.

Amber has been a resident of Braxton County for over 25 years. She has Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Management from DeVry University. She serves as an officer for both organizations, We’re Family Park Inc. and BCHS Eagle Band Booster. In addition, she manages Braxton Scouts BSA, a non-profit organization that over sees two of the counties Boy Scouts of America Troops. Amber is the Girl’s Scoutmaster, while her husband Scott is the Scoutmaster to their two son’s BSA Group.
Amber is the firm’s Assistant Administrator. She has been with the firm since 2021.
